Course Description:

Instagram has become a valuable educational resource, providing a dynamic platform to connect, share, and inspire. This course introduces you to the world of “Teachergrams,” where teachers across all subjects and grade levels share classroom ideas, showcase student achievements, and connect with an extensive network of educators (virtual professional network)

In this course, you’ll learn strategies to build an engaging, professional Instagram presence that highlights the meaningful work happening in your classroom. From capturing hands-on projects and memorable field trips to sharing teaching strategies, Instagram allows you to create a visual portfolio of your classroom that resonates with students, parents, and colleagues nearby!

Join us to explore how Instagram can become a tool for professional growth, collaboration, and community, all from the convenience of your own device. By the end, you'll be equipped to expand your reach, engage with the educator community, and elevate your classroom impact in creative, inspiring ways.

Connect with other professionals within virtual PLN communities (utilizing Instagram)

Quick Reference Guide

Step 1: Register for your course with your Provider (to include payment made to the Provider).

Step 2: Complete the online registration with CSU-Pueblo at

https://csupueblo-extendedstudies.formstack.com/forms/tep_other

Provider is THE CONNECTED CLASSROOM

Once you submit, you will receive an email from CSU confirming your registration. There will be a registration number in this email, and it may be helpful to document it. You need only register ONCE per course you’re taking. Check your SPAM for your PID that CSU emails.

Step 3: Following your online registration, you can expect a follow-up email that will provide you with your PID number. You can expect this email approximately 7-10 days later. Keeping record of your PID number is encouraged. If you do not receive this contact the Extended studies office at CSU-Pueblo.

Step 4: Once your coursework is submitted to your provider and they’ve sent us your grade, we will enter it. This process can take up to 14 business days.

Step 5: A notification will NOT be sent out when your grade is transcribed, rather, you can periodically check your unofficial transcripts on your Student PAWS account to see when the grade is posted.

Step 6: To log in to your PAWS account, please see the instructions provided in the email you received with your PID number.

Step 7: Official Transcripts can also be ordered through your Student PAWS account.
