Catalog Description:
This course empowers teachers to design, implement, and reflect on a personalized professional development plan tailored to their unique classroom challenges, teaching goals, and professional interests. Participants will learn to identify areas of growth, set actionable goals, and choose resources and strategies that best fit their needs—from online courses and webinars to book studies, peer networking, and hands-on practice.
Throughout the course, educators will also explore methods for tracking their progress, measuring outcomes, and adapting their plans as they evolve. By the end of this course, teachers will have a customized professional development blueprint they can continue to refine and use as a lifelong learning tool, supporting their ongoing growth and effectiveness in the classroom. Earn 3 graduate-level credits for the development of instructional activities, curriculum, lesson plans, or any other unique personalized projects for your classroom or program
