Course Description: This course is for classroom teachers looking to put a fresh spin on everyday lessons! Learn innovative ways to facilitate exciting learning experiences for your students. Create your own playbook of simple, low-prep strategies to make learning fun and meaningful (even on a Thursday afternoon in January). Who knew worksheets and lectures could be so interactive, collaborative, engaging, rigorous, and smile-inducing?
Course Objectives:
Analyze best educator practices
Identify your areas of strength and areas of focus when looking at instruction
Compare and contrast different ways to present new information to students
Examine alternate grading strategies
Research and collect activities to enhance everyday learning
Apply innovative strategies to your classroom
Reflect and evaluate the impact of techniques and strategies on student learning
